Teaching and Learning Tips - Quotations
TIP
Read for Pleasure!
Don't forget to read for pleasure. Reading material you enjoy can be one of the best
activities to help improve your vocabulary and broaden your knowledge.
While reading, try to "network" the newer information with ideas or knowledge from other sources. The more connections you make, the deeper your understanding of each topic.
It doesn't matter what you enjoy - fashion, sports, novels, short stories, comics, magazines
on your favourite topic, etc. - dive in and try to expand your repertoire as you proceed.
Don't forget to talk about what you've read with others - or blog about it - or make a journal.
Again, the more connections the better.
Enjoy your pleasure reading!
